- 3 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons geletine
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- Essence and coloring
- 1 Put sugar in large bowl.
- Dissolve geletine in the boiling water and then add to the sugar.
- Beat until thick and white and sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add essence and coloring as/if desired.
- when coloring is even, pour into a wet tray and let stand for a few hours before cutting into squares and rolling in coconut or icing sugar.
