Easy Marshmallows

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons geletine
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • Essence and coloring
  1. 1 Put sugar in large bowl.
  2. Dissolve geletine in the boiling water and then add to the sugar.
  3. Beat until thick and white and sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Add essence and coloring as/if desired.
  5. when coloring is even, pour into a wet tray and let stand for a few hours before cutting into squares and rolling in coconut or icing sugar.
